Digital Bungalow is an interactive agency based in Salem, MA. Founded in 1999, with a staff of approximately 25, Digital Bungalow has enjoyed tremendous success in developing industry-leading designs, robust business applications, and superior Internet strategies.

Digital Bungalow contacted LightWire to transition away from their existing outsourced IT provider, and with a specific goal of completely replacing their internal networking systems.

With a desire to implement a cutting-edge platform, Digital Bungalow approved a paradigm shift in their network architecture - to move away from numerous physical servers and replace these servers with a virtualized network environment based on VMWare's ESX platform.

With this architecture in mind, LightWire implemented a new network of VMWare servers, an iSCSI storage SAN, virtualized existing servers, and vastly simplified the network. At the same time, LightWire rebuilt their Windows server domain, migrated all of the users onto a single network domain, and rebuilt all of the end-user computers and integrated them onto this platform.

After completing this successful project, LightWire has transitioned to providing daily support for Digital Bungalow's network and staff.
